Boys and girls are different. It wasn’t until I had one of each of my own, that I realized how different they are.   The first time our son ever picked up a toy car and made the very little boy “car sound†to go with it, we both looked at each other and asked, “Did you teach him that?â€Â   Neither of us taught him how to make the sound. It was innate.
Well, today I was reminded of how girls also have innate abilities as well. Such as their ability to put the “dainty and the sparkle†back into our world. We were studying history. I asked a review question about some things that were traded. My 7 yr. old raised her hand and said, “Mommy, I know.â€Â I said, “OK what was it?â€Â Snapping her fingers like she was on Jepardy she said,  “oh it was … it was guns, and ….. and ….. oh guns and gun dust!â€
