WALK – Worship Arts Leadership for Kids. The appears general and broad. Let me take a moment to explain it.

Nashville is where the leadership team has chosen for our conference this year. People will come in on Sat. Oct. 5. The conference begins on Sunday morning Oct. 6 – Wednesday evening Oct. 9. Most will leave Thursday morning going home. We will be at the Drury Inn, Franklin, TN.

What is so unique about this conference?

So what is so special about this conference? The Community. This community is fantastic! First, they are the body of Christ and will pray for you and encourage you. Second, the value of having a place to go to brainstorm and problem solve with people who do what you do is simply immeasureable. It is a place to get song ideas, program ideas, volunteer ideas, shared programs and projects, find out the latest music available and many other things. Third, it is a great place to learn from others in your field. We talk about topics ranging from classroom management, to the best black light to buy, to getting volunteers.

We can’t give away too much about the conference, but we have instructors coming in several different areas. We will have some fantastic worship. You will leave with no less and 6 new worship arts classes to do with your kids. Publishers are coming to share with you the latest and greatest music they are releasing. We will discuss preschool and elementary music. We will discuss and have some hands on practice in some worship arts ideas. We will also look at creative ways to memorize scripture. We learn fun moves to fun songs and play with instruments. If you are still on the fence, just come check us out! We promise you will want to come back! Now I am going to leave some room for those who have been to tell you their experience over the last 20 years.
